My surrogate father just passed away this evening. I say that because without a doubt, he was the one person I was proud to call dad in my heart. My best friend, his family, are all so fortunate to have been blessed with his blood and warmth all their lives.

By the way you speak of him, he must have been an amazing person. And he touched your life in such a special way.

I'm sorry to hear that he is no longer with you. But his love will still live on. This I promise you.
